V Česku žije nejvíc obyvatel od roku 1945, uvedl Český statistický úřad. Počet obyvatel České republiky se letos zvýšil na skoro 10 650 000. Je to hlavně díky zahraniční migraci. Loni přišlo do Česka víc než 38 000 obyvatel ze zahraničí. Nejvíc imigrantů je z Ukrajiny (přes 13 000) a ze Slovenska (přes 5 000). Průměrný věk českých obyvatel je 42 let.
