PhDr. Lída Holá

Lída Holá has been teaching Czech as a foreign language since 1994. She is the founder of the Czech Step by Step brand and the author or co-author of a range of textbooks and teaching materials. She also founded and manages the adapted prose series for teaching Czech and brief overviews Czech grammar in a nutshell. She has been both practically and theoretically engaged in teaching methodology for many years.

Mgr. Pavla Bořilová

Pavla Bořilová has been both practically and theoretically engaged in teaching Czech as a foreign language since 2000. She is the co-author of Česky krok za krokem 2, Čeština expres series and Czech Grammar in a Nutshell. She also takes care of our website.

PhDr. Zdena Malá

Zdena Malá has many years of experience in teaching German and Czech as a foreign language. Currently, she is the Director of the Krystal Center of the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies, Charles University. She is the author of workbooks for Česky krok za krokem 2 and supplementary games and activities for our textbooks.

Mgr. Silvie Převrátilová

Silvie Převrátilová has been engaged in foreign language methodology since her studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. She teaches Czech and English, runs methodology seminars, co-authors textbooks and supplementary materials. She also translates from and to English and takes care of our Facebook profiles.

Mgr. Petra Bulejčíková, Ph.D.

Petra Bulejčíková is a teacher and a teacher trainer. She got her degree in Czech language and Literature specialized in teaching at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, where she also got her PhD. on standard vs. non-standard Czech in language teaching. She runs methodology seminars, co-authors the adapted prose series and other teaching materials.

Mgr. Martina Trchová

Martina Trchová has been engaged in teaching Czech as a foreign language since 2008. She wrote the Brněnské legendy book within the Adapted prose series and co-authored other teaching materials. She is a singer, song writer and artist and she reflects her artistic experience in language teaching.
